CORI stands for Criminal Offender Record Information. It is provided to public schools in Massachusetts at no charge by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Criminal History Systems Board. All volunteers (and staff members) who work with our students must have a CORI check performed before they volunteer in any capacity. CORI information may not be shared between agencies, so even if you have had a CORI at another Attleboro school, you must have a separate CORI check done by Brennan. To perform a CORI check, you must go to Brennan's main office and complete a CORI Request Form and sign a waiver giving Brennan permission to obtain your CORI. An official government-issued photo ID (such as driver’s license or passport) is also required. Copies of forms cannot be filled out at home and sent in. |
